Willkommen im Bereich „Öffentliche Aufrufe“ des Internationalen Büros von Roter Baum Berlin! Hier findet ihr eine sorgfältig zusammengestellte Liste von Möglichkeiten und offenen Ausschreibungen im Rahmen des Erasmus+ Programms, bei denen Roter Baum als Projektorganisatorin oder Partnerin fungiert.
Jugendbegegnung:
Ein Jugendaustausch fördert die Mobilität junger Menschen zwischen 13 und 30 Jahren und bringt Teilnehmende aus mindestens zwei verschiedenen Ländern zusammen. Während ein bis zwei Wochen beschäftigen sie sich gemeinsam mit einem wichtigen oder interessanten Thema, lernen voneinander, entdecken neue Kulturen und erweitern ihre persönlichen, sozialen und interkulturellen Kompetenzen.

Beschreibung:
Dieser Jugendaustausch in Berlin bringt junge Menschen aus Litauen, Griechenland, Italien und Deutschland zusammen, um Essen als mehr als nur etwas zu entdecken, das wir kochen oder essen. Essen wird zum Ausgangspunkt, um über Kultur, Identität, Erinnerung, Zugang und die Systeme nachzudenken, die unser tägliches Leben prägen.
Durch gemeinsames Kochen und Essen, praktische Aktivitäten, Diskussionen und kreative Workshops erkunden die Teilnehmenden die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede in ihren Esskulturen und Gewohnheiten. Wir werden hinterfragen, wie urbane Ernährungssysteme funktionieren, wer Zugang zu welchen Ressourcen hat und wie Institutionen unsere Beziehung zu Lebensmitteln beeinflussen, und gleichzeitig die Geschichten und Verbindungen feiern, die rund um den Tisch entstehen.
Das Ziel ist nicht nur, Rezepte auszutauschen, sondern aus dieser gemeinsamen Auseinandersetzung etwas Neues zu schaffen. Dies kann zum Beispiel eine kleine Publikation, eine Rezeptsammlung, kreative Dokumentation oder ein anderes gemeinsames Ergebnis sein, das von der Gruppe entwickelt wird. Der Prozess des gemeinsamen Gestaltens ist dabei genauso wichtig wie das Ergebnis.
Wir laden Menschen ein, die gerne kochen und mit neuen Geschmäckern in der Küche experimentieren, ebenso wie diejenigen, die neugierig auf Kultur, Reflexion und kreative handwerkliche Aktivitäten sind. Egal ob du dich durch Essen, Gespräche oder durch das Gestalten mit deinen Händen ausdrückst, dieser Austausch bietet Raum, gemeinsam zu entdecken und kreativ zu werden.
In der interkulturellen Landschaft Berlins wird Essen zu einem gemeinsamen Nenner, eine Möglichkeit, einander besser zu verstehen, Perspektiven zu hinterfragen und neue Wege des Miteinanders in der Stadt zu imaginieren.

„Nature in Frame“ ist ein Jugendaustauschprojekt, das junge Menschen aus fünf verschiedenen Orten rund um den Globus zusammenbringt und sie einlädt, ihre Sichtweisen auf Natur und städtische Landschaften zu erkunden und auszudrücken. Während der Begriff „Natur“ für Reinheit und die Abwesenheit menschlicher Eingriffe steht, spiegelt der Begriff „Umwelt“ die Beziehung zwischen den Menschen und ihrer Umgebung wider. Wie können diese Konzepte in unser Projekt integriert werden? Die Fotografie wird als Werkzeug dienen, um sie zu vereinen.
35 Teilnehmer aus fünf verschiedenen Ländern kommen zusammen, um ihre Gedanken zu teilen, ihre Motivation zu steigern und sich gegenseitig zu verschiedenen bedeutsamen Themen zu inspirieren. Dieses Projekt verbindet Kreativität, kulturellen Austausch und Umweltbewusstsein und findet in der pulsierenden Stadt Berlin statt. Zu den beteiligten Ländern gehören Serbien, Deutschland, Rumänien, Italien und Ungarn.

Europäisches Solidaritätskorps (ESK):
Das Europäische Solidaritätskorps (ESK) ist ein von der EU finanziertes Programm für junge Menschen zwischen 18 und 30 Jahren. Es ermöglicht ihnen, 2 bis 12 Monate lang kostenlos an sozialen, ökologischen oder kulturellen Projekten im In- oder Ausland teilzunehmen. Ziel ist es, Mobilität, Lernen und gesellschaftliches Engagement zu fördern, insbesondere für Jugendliche mit wenigen Auslandserfahrungen.

Project description:
This summer, as in so many years before, we will organise a new round of ESC teams project. This project will focus on creating and implementing offers for young people during your stay with Roter Baum Berlin UG at our Democracy festival. As part of our team, among other 12-15 young people, you will have the opportunity to experience, participate and create an offer for young people and our team on several holiday activities organised in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district that accompany the Democracy festival celebration.
Through your participation, you will explore the surroundings of one or more youth center, estimate their needs and create the outdoor furniture that will be used during the festival as “Chill-Out Area”, and that can after it be reused by youth centres in their gardens. Next to it, you will focus more on creating offers for young people who are visiting festivals and who visit these created Chill-Out Areas. Through it, you will have direct contact with the local visitors and audience of our Democracy festival.
The project will take place between 24 August 2026 (arrival day) and 08 September 2026 (departure day). You will play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences and enhancing the creativity of young people.After the project, you will receive a certificate of participation.

Participant profile:
- We are looking for a proactive and open-minded volunteer interested in ESC projects and youth work.
- You should be adaptable, eager to share, learn, test your skills and put them in practice, have good communication skills and be able to phrase and explain your thoughts.
- As the project includes building chill-out areas and preparation of content for visitors, skills in carpentry, sewing, painting, logic, aesthetics, functionality, pedagogy and literacy shall exist so you will be able to be an active part of the group.
- It is also highly appreciated skills in design, videography, photography and use of marketing on the local level and on networks.
- Good English required; basic German is an asset.
Accommodation
You will be accommodated in mixed-nations yet single gender rooms (2-3 person rooms). The accommodationis very close to the S-Bahn station Kaulsdorf. Participants are required to follow the rules of the hosting house and the regulations under which it functions.The accommodation will provide breakfast to the participants, and it also has a service kitchen for participants use. Hygiene of the kitchen and rooms is the responsibility of the participants (clean after use).
Food
Breakfast is organised by accommodation, while lunch and dinner will vary (sometimes organised by hostinglocations, sometimes organised by the group and sometimes self-organised).
Travel
The project provides participants with round-trip costs to the project from their home and back, which will be reimbursed to the participants on a real costs basis (up to the budget maximum) upon submission of the valid travel documents to the Coordinating Organisation – CO.
All travels under 1000 km in distance shall be done in the form of “Green travel”. Applying
All applicants must apply through the Youth portal at the following link. Any other form of application will not be considered eligible and will not be evaluated. In case of need for a meeting or interview, you will be directly contacted by a responsible person from CO. Applications will be evaluated after the application deadline. Upon evaluation of all applications, you will be contacted with the result. Calling, emailing or making any other contact with the CO office will not make this process any faster or prioritise your participation.
