The youth centre “Unterm Dach” Frohnau has been in existence since August 2023 and is located on the top floor of Schönfließer Str. 12A. Unterm Dach is a youth centre according to §11 SGB VIII and is open to all young people and young adults aged 12-27. The participation of young people in the district and the activation of the neighbourhood are particularly important.

Our youth centre “Unterm Dach” is open from Tuesday to Friday from 14:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 12:00 to 18:00.
We also offer a special event once a month on Saturdays. These can be excursions, visits to exciting places, special workshops or parties at the youth centre.

Our offers and activities

Our open meeting place in the “Unterm Dach” youth centre invites teenagers and young adults to come along and decide for themselves how they want to spend their time. Visitors can contribute their own ideas or choose from a wide range of activities:

  • Playstation
  • Board games
  • Listen to music
  • Table football
  • Cinema evenings
  • Cooking
  • Graffiti
  • Karaoke
  • Sports activities (volleyball, badminton, table tennis, basketball, parkour and much more)
  • Art and creative projects

Our on-site educational staff are always ready to listen and are available for discussions and support.

Regular workshops

  • Boxing: Tue. 14-16h.
  • Pen-and-paper role-playing game: Wed. 16-20h.
  • Cook & Chill: Fri. 16-18h.
  • Yoga in the garden (organised by SC Tegeler Forst): Sat. 11am-12pm.

Additional programmes

In addition to the daily programme, the youth centre “Unterm Dach” offers further opportunities for teenagers and young adults to spend their free time and holidays in an exciting way:

  • Day trips (climbing forest, cinema, museum, etc.)
  • Participation in international projects
  • Holiday trips
  • Special holiday programmes with a variety of activities
  • Free “Rave the Roof” parties with DJs and various themes (Christmas, summer, Halloween, etc.)
