Topic: Activities promoted by mobile youth centres

Description:
The Mobile Youth Centres Festival is a youth exchange based on the principles of non-formal education. This means that your active participation – through sharing, presenting, listening, trying out and creating together – is at the centre of this experience.

Around 24 young people from Germany, Romania, Italy and Belgium come together for 7 days to live, work and learn from each other. You will discover new cultures, new places and build relationships across borders.

The central theme of the exchange is the organisation of choral events – i.e. collaborative, creative activities – with the help of mobile youth centres brought along by the respective partner organisations. Each of these mobile centres is unique and offers a variety of activities such as graffiti, gaming (including PlayStation), music, art, theatre and many other forms of creative expression.

Over the course of the week, you will jointly organise four smaller public events in different Berlin districts – open to the local community and under the guidance of the experienced team from Roter Baum Berlin. The highlight of the project is the SLON Festival, an established event that celebrates the creativity and commitment of young people every September.

Description:
Nature in Frame” is a youth exchange project that brings together young people from five different places around the globe and invites them to explore and express their views on nature and urban landscapes. While the term “nature” stands for purity and the absence of human intervention, the term “environment” reflects the relationship between people and their surroundings. How can these concepts be integrated into our project? Photography will serve as a tool to unite them.

36 participants from five different countries will come together to share their thoughts, increase their motivation and inspire each other on various meaningful topics. This project combines creativity, cultural exchange and environmental awareness and takes place in the vibrant city of Berlin. The participating countries include Serbia, Germany, Romania, Italy and France.

Would you like to explore these ideas and create an image that reflects your unique perspective? Are you ready to immerse yourself in the world of photography and nature? Come and join us!

We can’t wait to welcome you!
