The “MKJZ plus” project is an extension of the “Mobile Children’s and Youth Centre Marzahn Hellersdorf (MKJZ MaHe)” project and focuses on schools in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district, targeting children and young people as well as young adults aged 6-27, thus concentrating on primary schools and secondary schools as well as vocational schools in the district.

Programmes

The possible forms of programmes at the schools are diverse. Some of the options are listed below. However, individual offers are possible by arrangement.

Mobile kitchen

Starting this year, we are offering the opportunity to cook directly with children and young people in schools. Thanks to our mobile kitchen, we can reach you wherever you want! We focus on healthy and tasty cuisine with seasonal and regional products.

Graffiti workshops

It is also possible for us to organise graffiti workshops together with schoolchildren. This can vary from 1-2 hour workshops to longer-term projects with joint design of premises.

Offers for school festivals

We are also happy to support school festivals with our wide range of facilities at the Mobile Children’s and Youth Centre and the Mobile Kitchen. In addition to typical youth club activities such as table football, table tennis and vehicle hire (BMX, unicycle, etc.), we can also plan and implement cooking activities with pupils at parties.

We would also like to take this opportunity to point out that the youth resource centre can also be used for school parties etc.

Cooperation with student representatives

Pupil representatives are an incredibly important resource in school life and offer pupils the opportunity to pool the interests and needs of children and young people and to have a direct influence on decisions relating to school life.

We would like to support them in this.

Joint youth culture programmes can be planned or support can be provided in the form of resources for events, performances, etc. (loan of sound systems, stage modules, etc.)

We think it is important that children and young people are informed about the wide range of cultural and social activities on offer in the district.

Information about family centres, youth leisure facilities, libraries, sports clubs, family service offices, youth welfare offices, youth initiatives and much more is handed out or discussed at joint workshops or offers. We are happy to help young people and children to network.

In particular, we would like to provide information about the offers of the Alliance for Children, the holiday offers of the organisations and opportunities for participation.
