Through the Centre of Excellence for Outreach Political Education, we are working in partnership with the Berlin State Agency for Political Education on the development, implementation and further development of this project. Its aim is to make political education accessible to people in the district and to offer advice, training and skills development to interested stakeholders in the neighbourhood through partnerships.
We use outreach-based approaches. Our events appeal to residents’ interests, explain various topics in an accessible way and are easy to attend.
We engage in dialogue with residents and encourage them to get involved. In doing so, we explain how political decisions are made, how people can influence these decision-making processes, and support residents in formulating and implementing their specific concerns.
